10 Minute Tip

Sign up for a class! Not sure where to do that? A quick online search of local quilt shops, fabric stores, and quilt guilds is a great place to start. If you aren’t already a member of a quilt guild, don’t worry, they welcome visitors and will open class spaces to non members if they have space available. The extra charge for non members is minimal, and once you’ve visited, you are probably going to want to join anyway, so have fun!

Feel like you know everything you want about quilting? Don’t think you are good enough to take a class? Just feeling intimidated? Relax! I’ve been taking and teaching quilting classes for so many years and I promise, I’ve seen everything from newbies to seasoned pro’s get something out every workshop or class. Even if it’s just a little tip or trick or a new friend, you are totally worth the investment in time and effort it takes. So go ahead and treat yourself!

Check out my teaching calendar HERE to see where I’ll be and contact the group hosting if you want to sign up.

Enjoy every stitch! Diane
