Quilt Studio Reality

I love a clean and tidy studio with room to create and play. I love a well organized stash that is easy to scan for exactly what I need. I love being able to sit down and stitch without having to clear a path first. But that’s not always the case. I do clean after I finish a project by putting away all the unused supplies, clearing off the cutting mat and cleaning my machine. I also attempt to run a vacuum on Mondays when I am doing the rest of the house but that doesn’t always happen. I keep squares of scrap batting for dusting surfaces when the cotton fluff gets too thick. I like having systems in place that work for me without being extra work if that makes sense. What do you do to make your sewing studio easy to use and accessible? I would love to hear your suggestions!

Enjoy every stitch! Diane
