Cranberry Sauce

Cranberry Sauce

1 bag of fresh cranberries
1 cup of water
1 cup of sugar
half cup of orange juice

Heat the water and sugar to a boil on the stove, stirring often. While the water and sugar are heating, rinse the cranberries and put them in the bowl of the food processor. Blend until they are very finely chopped. Once the sugar/water boils, add the chopped cranberries and orange juice. Reduce the heat and simmer for 10 minutes. Let cool, pour into a serving bowl, cover and refrigerate until needed.

This has been a family favorite for years, and it is even better on the leftover turkey sandwiches!

Enjoy every bite! Diane
