A’MAZE’D
Why do the simplest units make up the best blocks? I love the combination of basic four patches and triangles. Once the blocks are put together into a quilt, the movement created by the most basic patchwork is always the best surprise! This fun sew along which was originally held in 2022 featured two fabrics from my first fabric line (sorry it’s all sold out!) But this easy block could be beautiful in any two fabrics, or in any scrappy variety.
When my kids were growing up, mazes were always exciting. They loved solving mazes on paper, online, 3d puzzle versions, and especially life size ones they could run through! So when I saw all the layout options for this block, I naturally remembered the fun hours of entertainment mazes have given our family over the years. I’m still a’maze’d at the joy they provide, even in fabric!
