10 Minute Tip

Clean your machine. Can you even remember the last time you did?

I try to clean my machine after every large project or when I just want to spend a few minutes in my sewing room. I’m no expert on machine maintenance but I like to inspect my thread path for lint or broken fibers, remove my throat plate and give things a thorough dusting and add a bit oil, as well as inspecting my needle and checking to see if it needs replacing. I also dust around the machine and all of the parts with a small piece of batting to collect even the tiniest pieces of lint.

Think of it as spring cleaning for your machine!

Enjoy every stitch! Diane
