10 Minute Tip

Fold fabric. Not your whole stash, unless you are really motived, but that’s going to take way more than 10 minutes!

I love to spend time in my sewing room even when I don’t know what I want to work on. Sometimes choosing a section (color stack, shelf, or bin) and pulling out the fabrics just for the purpose of organizing them will spark an idea! I know that when I use fabric from my stash, I tend to put it back in place, but not as neatly as I should. So I will select a stack of fabrics and refold them, stacking them from dark to light. This allows me to discover fabrics that have been pushed to the back, or fabrics that need to go away. It makes for a few minutes of therapy and tiny bit of tidy in my sewing room.

Enjoy every stitch! Diane
